Optical module solution small size M030G/M031G series microcontrollers, won the 2022 ASPENCORE World Electronics Achievement Awards (WEAA) Microcontroller/Interface of the Year award.
Nuvoton Technology was established to bring innovative solutions to the semiconductor industry, focusing on the development of IC products for microcontrol/microprocessor, smart industrial Internet of Things and smart home related applications, which are leading in the industrial electronics, consumer electronics and computer markets. Therefore, in early 2022, the NuMicro® M030G/M031G series of microcontrollers was launched, providing a complete optical module solution platform for the market.
NuMicro® M030G/M031G series microcontrollers that fully meet the optical module application have five features: 1. Small size package, including QFN24 3mm x 3mm and QFN33 4mm x 4mm; 2. Built-in high-accuracy temperature sensor, with an accuracy of ±40 °C from -105 °C to 2 °C; 3. High-speed I2C interface, slave mode up to 1 MHz; 4. Built-in hardware Manchester codec, which can be used for optical communication applications to do Manchester encoding conversion; 5. Optimized DAC, support automatic data generation function, with Manchester codec, can output smooth Manchester code sine wave at high speed.
In addition to the five features, NuMicro® M030G/M031G series microcontrollers are equipped with a total of 4 DACs and up to 16 channels of ADCs, Nuvoton Technology integrates rich analog peripherals into small form factors, making the application of this series of microcontrollers more flexible. In addition to optical module applications, NuMicro® M030G/M031G series microcontrollers are also widely used in sensors, small screens, small household appliances, power modules, micro projectors, wearable devices and other applications.
